Ilam, July 12: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has inaugurated a newly constructed hospital in Mai Municipality, Ilam on Saturday. The 15-bed hospital was built at a cost of Rs. 100.7 million.
The two-story hospital is constructed in an area of 10.5 ropanis of land.
The chief of the health division of Mai Municipality, Pushkar Kattel, informed that a 24-hour service has been arranged in the hospital.
He mentioned that services such as emergency care, basic laboratory, X-ray, video X-ray, ECG, and pharmacy are being operated from the hospital.
A health insurance programme has also been implemented at the hospital, Kattel added.
